What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes - from keeping sites functional to tracking behavior across the web. We keep things minimal.
Cookies we use
Revgineer uses only essential cookies: the ones our hosting and CDN provider, Cloudflare, sets to keep the site secure and fast, plus one for the site owner's admin login. They're strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare bot management - distinguishes humans from bots | 30 min |
| __cflb | Cloudflare load balancing - routes you to the same server | Session |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare security challenge - proves you passed a check | Up to 1 year |
| revgineer_admin | Keeps the site owner signed in to the admin area. Never set for visitors. | 7 days |
What we don't use
- Analytics cookies - we don't run Google Analytics or similar tools at this time
- Advertising cookies - no ad networks, no retargeting pixels
- Social media cookies - no embedded social widgets that track you
- Preference cookies - the site has no settings to remember
If we add analytics
If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies in the future, we'll update this policy and add a cookie consent mechanism before they're activated. You'll have the option to accept or decline.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though blocking Cloudflare's essential cookies may prevent the site from loading correctly.
